Check out Ghost, or How I Finally Met the Werewolf. You can read it yourself or listen to a reading by the author (viz. me). You’ll find it in the May/June 2019 issue of decomP, a magazine I have published with before. The story is the synthesis of two that I wrote in my twenties and is based on a true story. The character’s taste in music was inspired in part by decomP’s Editor-in Chief, Jason Jordan (not to be confused with the pro wrestler). Jason has been running the decomP for over a decade. We were in the MFA program together at Chatham University, and he now holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Ohio University and has several publications.
